Deze publicatie is het resultaat van een zoektocht naar de architectonische werken van architect Jos Jeurissen (1880-1958) gerealiseerd in de periode 1913-1940. Jos Jeurissen heeft bijna 150 werken ontworpen in met name de Westelijke Mijnstreek.

Alle restauratie verslagen die tussen 1990 en 2024 gemaakt zijn door eigenaren van zalmschouwen. Deze zijn bijna allemaal verschenen in het clubblad "de Beun" van de Vereniging tot Behoud van de Zalmschouw.
