Only Nature Lives Forever

"Who can overcome their mind and control it has, to their mind, a good friend. But those who fail in this endeavor are precisely their spirit's worst enemy, because those who do not know how to control their mind are always in the company of their greatest opponent, and will constantly miss out on life's purpose. After all, those who know how to keep a cool head in a real fight are undoubtedly already the victors, but those who cannot will be inclined to act rashly and panic, thus losing the fight. As long as our turbulent spirit remains an undefeated enemy, we are accustomed to obeying the orders of anger, disappointment, depression, and both mental and physical symptoms. It has often happened in the past that people afflicted by disease or injury in war were still able to deceive and defeat the enemy. Religious individuals may see, at such moments, a miracle or the hand of their god. But in these cases, it is more due to the control of their own mind, which has seized them unconsciously or consciously due to the present danger.
