Synopsis
After some very strong spiritual experiences, the writer went looking for answers to the what and why thereof. The search led past several houses of worship, but the answers were eventually found in the ancient scriptures and the explanations thereof by well-known teachers. The Vedic scriptures from India, of which the Bhagavad-Gita and the Srimad Bhagavatam are the best known, as well as the Bible and the Koran give clear indications for experiencing God. It is remarkable, that there are more similarities between various religious lines than one would assume in this world of differences.
