Synopsis

I started schooling in 1967 at Imilangu Primary School. When I reached up to grade four, the Roman Catholics at Sihole mission built the upper primary, which was grade five up to grade seven. I was always coming from Imilunga village where I stayed with my parents. During my holidays I was fond of looking after my father’s cattle. In the forest I went with dogs to hunt small animals and even big ones. Sometimes I used traps to kill birds and hares. These are the titles of my stories: Myself, Maswabi, Fear beer, Hippos are dangerous, Kalulu and Ingwe, Training for marriage, Lubinda becomes a hunter, Bride price, Hippo and Elephant, A story of Namonda Joyce, A pleasant work, The lost cat, A man becomes a crocodile, The three horned fish, A thief, The man who married a hen, A broken leg, Dances, Puberty girl, Inheritance, Your best friend is your best enemy, Girls of today, The badness of being uneducated, Dogs crossing the river, Medicine Men, How my mother cared for me. Good stories for lessons English in high schools.
