Dark Years

My name is Amina. I was born in 1986, Meru, Kenya. The reason for writing this book is to inspire young African ladies not to give up in life no matter how difficult things might be. To all the young girls who underwent female genital mutilation in the name of culture; and to those who did not know a mother's love or never had a home to live. Life might be tough and you may not have anywhere to go to; but you should just keep on dreaming big even if you do not see light at the end of the tunnel. Amina
