Synopsis
Emma carries this same uncanny presence. She moves through town unnoticed but not unremembered—only, the memory never fully forms. The townsfolk glimpse her and immediately forget. They sense that they should know her, that recognition is just beneath the surface, but when they reach for it, the thought slips away. She is not a stranger, yet she is not known. A missing piece they cannot quite place.
Inside the shop, if you are ever lucky enough to be granted access, the shelves carry books with stories that were never written, journals filled with stories left unfinished waiting for someone, yet unknown, to complete them. Eerily, beneath the dust and silence, something or someone watches, waiting for Emma to pick up what has always belonged to her and is just waiting….waiting.
The Archivist’s Haven represents the echoes of those before time itself. Emma has yet to discover it, or for it to allow her to do so.
