Synopsis
This is a story of a girl Wuru who was born in remote side of Niger Delta and her parents was down and out. She grew you in a clan and fought battle with male citizen of her clan.In the clan women was not allow to own land and property as they were regarded as unperson. She was the battle as she served her father's shrine .She later married and died during her pregnancy because her clan and government could not provide good hospital to save her and her child she was siring because of government that was known as poster child for corruption.

The weird village boy tells stories of a boy called Ode who had undignified birth and growth in the remote side of the Niger Delta.He was so timid a lad who could not figure out what to do for himself.However he found a niche in committing crimes such as stealing and burning of shrines alongside his group members.
