THE TREE, THE TIGER AND THE DRAGON

There are many books on Taiijquan and Qigong. Some that explain in great detail the steps to learn the movement forms, and others that present the different typical concepts such as Yinyang, qi, dantian and other theories found in the cryptic classical texts on the subject. In this text Oscar goes another path, using the same concepts, he takes us by the hand on his own personal journey in which he shares with us the impact that the practice of over forty years has had on all aspects of his own personal daily life. This personal approach brings these concepts closer to the reader's own skin, allowing them to feel the accessibility and transformative power of these ancient practices. In this journey in search of ‘The Three Treasures’, Oscar traverses far-flung geographical confines, narrates the adventures in the search for knowledge, the encounters and experiences with great and remarkable masters, (how he became a disciple of grand master Chen Xioawang), and then takes the reader into the depths of his inner journey to different levels of consciousness.
