Synopsis

“Gully, the shark who wanted to know himself" is a children's tale, intended for ages 5 to 10, which tells the story of a shark who lives in the sea with his family, happy and content. But when Gully grows up, he decides to leave his home to start a long cycle of adventures, with which he will try to prove to everyone that he is the best shark that ever existed. However, his obsession with being perfect will lead him to forget his family and friends. Then one day he receives the news that his mother is about to die. He initially ignores it, but later realizes that the information is true, so he decides to run back home. When he arrives, he sadly finds that there is nothing he can do about it, which will cause a deep crisis in his life and in the values ​​he had always fought for.

Sergi  Castillo Lapeira
En Sergi Castillo Lapeira va néixer a la ciutat de Mataró el 1959. Va estudiar a la Universitat de Barcelona, on es va llicenciar en Filosofia i Ciències de l'Educació el 1984, i en Filologia Catalana el 1996. Des de l'any 1984 fins al 2022 va exercir com a professor de Filosofia a l'Escola Pia Mataró. Ha publicat tres novel·les, un llibre de relats curts, un llibre de poesia i un altre d'assaig, disponibles a: www.edicionsetma.com "Gina, la girafa que volia ser lliure" és la primera incursió en el gènere de la literatura infantil.
