Evolve or repeat

My collection of love, the power of pen put onto paper. I'm a child that grew up surrounded by my families love, but I'm an adult from a broken home. The change that happened in my home and the direct impact of my parents divorce has taught me more about love and the world around me than I ever thought possible. Through the processing, the pain, the emotional burdens and the confusion I turned to writing, I had to do a personal essay in high school and I chose the topic "broken home" and from that a spark was ignited. Like everything, finding love was a journey: a journey I had with myself and my own mind. It took me seeing the two who raised me miss by a pin drop to understand that love is in-fact - everywhere. Love used to be something I never understood, I realised- after many journal entries- that there was only person being affected by me not believing in love, me. After starting to open up to the possibility that love is real, i started to see it everywhere, I hope after reading this you too can be open to this opportunity to see love in all things.
