Misdirection book one

Frank looked around and shivered violently. As far as the eye could see the landscape was white, not that he could see very far. A snow storm was fast approaching and a few flakes had already started to whistle past his face at an alarming rate. Felix was already ducking behind a snow bank and Frank raced to join him. “ARE YOU SURE THIS IS THE RIGHT PLACE FELIX”, shouted Frank. Felix was already struggling to open the map so Frank held one side and Felix gripped the other. A small red dot flashed on the map. Felix shook his head and Frank took that to mean they were lost. Frank could see Felix’s mouth move but little sound came out. Frank mouthed the word ‘WHAT.’ Felix shouted. “RIGHT PLACE, WRONG TIME, WE’RE FIFTEEN THOUSAND YEARS TOO EARLY.” Frank looked devastated as the snowstorm had now wiped out all of their view. Frank thought he might as well put a bowl over his head, paint it white as that was about the maximum view he had. His shivering continued and he noticed Felix was now doing the same.
