Puppies in Action

Hello, I’m Emilly Collins and I’m passionate about education and writing. I was born in Washington, but I lived in Spain and France for a while. Ten years ago, I returned with my family to Washington, where I am a primary school teacher. I have twins, which brought even more meaning to my life. Besides teaching, I dedicate part of my time to writing children’s books, conveying values such as friendship, effort, pursuit of dreams and acceptance of differences. I speak five languages - English, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese - which allows me to connect with children from different cultures and share stories that celebrate the diversity of the world. My mission is to create books that inspire children to be good people, to value differences and to understand the importance of friendship and respect from an early age. As an educator, I have the honor of shaping the future of children, encouraging a conscious and kind generation. It is a journey that I embrace with passion and gratitude every day.
