Henk van Oosterhout is a geographer and a microfinance expert. He has worked for the International Labor Organization (ILO), the German Gesellschaft für Internationaler Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the European Commission and the World Bank, and has lived and worked many years in Africa, Middle-East and Asia. Currently, he gives presentations on poverty, wealth and inequality in the world and advises corporate social responsibility departments that finance or carry out projects to combat poverty.
