Steve Jørgensen is a photographer and videographer specializing in travel, nature, and wildlife photography, as well as photojournalism, documentary filmmaking, advertising, and commercial projects.
He combines his creative passion with experience as an international project manager, team leader, and former deputy manager, making him a strong organizer and communicator.
With a deep interest in capturing the beauty of nature – from majestic landscapes to intimate moments in wildlife – Steve creates images that inspire reflection and a deeper understanding of our relationship with the natural world.
Steve is a certified drone pilot and has a technical background in robotics and IT.
He is trained as a data technician with a specialization in programming, infrastructure, industrial IT, IT security, cloud solutions, and hardware development, giving him a rare combination of technical expertise and a creative eye.
Throughout his career, Steve has been responsible for leading cross-disciplinary teams and international projects, where his organizational skills and flair for innovation have led to successful outcomes.
As a former deputy manager, he has gained valuable experience in leadership, staff development, and strategic planning.
His work as a photographer has been published in renowned magazines and international platforms, where his ability to capture detail and magical moments is often highlighted.
Steve has also taught IT and photography, combining his technical insight with his passion for visual storytelling, inspiring both colleagues and students with his knowledge and creative approach.
In 2018, Steve published his first book, “A Quick Trip to South Africa – A Fantastic Journey into the Wild,” documenting his journey to South Africa and his encounters with the country's impressive wildlife and landscapes, as well as its fascinating cultures and stories.
In 2020, he followed up with “A Quick Trip into Nature – A Photobook of Nature Experiences in North Zealand,” a visually captivating book portraying the wildlife and historical ancient relics of North Zealand.
In 2021, Steve became part of the European Wildlife Photography Team, an international network of nature photographers working to document and spread awareness about the importance of protecting our nature and wildlife through visual storytelling.
In 2022, he was awarded a special prize in the category “Apprenticeship Prize – Politiken’s Education Award 2022” for his dedication as an instructor and educator within the industrial fields.
