Synopsis
Artist and writer Paul Carey has gathered together a collection of autobiographical, semi-autobiographical (and clearly just made-up stuff based on things that may or may not have happened to him) short stories, cartoons, poems, scripts and comic-strips. Stories of love, loss, laughter and lunacy, with forays into the supernatural. From driving a car while unconscious, to looking for a non-existent pub, via a charity bed push for (Sean) Connery relief.
About Paul Carey
Artist and writer Paul Carey started publishing a daily cartoon on FACEBOOK for family and friends during the challenging Covid-19 lockdown in April 2020.
This is a collection of the first 200 of those cartoons featuring the character named BOB, along with his cast of supporting characters including the Shy Busker, his drunken sister Brenda and his flying pet pig Pigasus.
BOB observes and comments on the absurdities of life and the world we live, turning up in all corners of time and space, meeting well known and obscure characters along the way.
