Virtuous Economics

In economic terms, going beyond the words of common sense requires forsaking preconceived ideas on a given subject and being willing to deeply analyze the situation at hand. “Virtuous Economics” spurs the reader to do so. It explains a number of new concepts: 1) why is the opportunity the economics’ basic unit of analysis; 2) why is a reward-based system always superior to a penalty-based system; 3) why the creation of new money must be exclusively used to provide purchasing power to investment projects; 4) why collateral must be eradicated from any financial operation; and 5) why economic efficiency can only be reached through a full-employment economy granted by the private-sector. These are all counter-intuitive concepts that require to be deeply analyzed rather than submitted to opinion or debate.   “Virtuous Economics” is a consensual work that goes beyond the words of common sense.
