About Chelsea Springer
Chelsea Elise Springer is a passionate poet. Battling major depressive disorder, and dealing with bullying throughout her school days, poetry has always been a way she has expressed herself.
She is a junior with a major in creative writing and a minor in psychology with a concentration in Autism studies as a Black autistic woman.
She had to withdraw from her university due to mental health reasons and financial reasons, and will graduate in 2024 or 2025 instead of 2023. However, she still aspires to make an impact on youth that have disabilities and help them express themselves through writing, specifically poetry. Poetry has been therapeutic for her, and outlet for her. She doesn't just write for herself, but she writes in hopes that it can help someone else and that poetry can be a creative outlet for someone else.
