Birthday Wishes!

My name is Sarayu Vemula. I was born in India. I moved about 4 times in my life. First India, next Georgia, where my 7 year old brother was born. I am 7 years older than him so I think you guessed that I’m 14 years old. I live in Michigan, Detroit! I am if you all can guess a typical 8th grade like any other. I found my interest in writing when I first read Harry Potter By J.K. Rowling! My mom was the one who got me interested in the movies, then I started to read the books. It wasn’t until 6th grade World Language did I find out that J.K. Rowling was actually a girl! Anyways, some of you might be wondering how you managed to publish your first book in 8th grade. So in 7th grade I read this amazing book called Restart By Gordon Korman. Now I loved Restart, I mean loved it! So in school in ELA we do a thing where we recommend some books of a certain author. One of them just happened to be my favorite. Gordon Korman, that’s when I realized that he published his first book in 7th grade! So I was determined to publish my book! So here I am, an author I always wanted to be!
