The Manorial Society of England and Wales was created to help fill the gap left when HM Land Registry stopped recording manorial titles on its register, though those previously registered are maintained. Through the systematic review of records available to the public and also from private individuals who contact The Manorial Society of England and Wales a list or register of those holding manorial titles is compiled and maintained by the organisation as its main function.
