Paulo Sérgio Santos Negrete {aka John Chapman}, was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil. In the decade 1990-2000, the creator of Suggestopedia©, Dr. Georgi Lozanov, personally trained Santos Negrete in the method. For over 13 years, Negrete has successfully taught English using the method with outstanding results. As Dr. Lozanov always said, Suggestopedia is a science, and new scientists and researchers are needed. Following in his footsteps, Sérgio improved the method based on hundreds of experiments, classes taught, and the newest neuroscience discoveries. Now the method is called Neuropedia©. Santos Negrete ran an English school in Brazil from 1991 to 2017, is the author of several Suggestopedic-Neuropedic books, such as Back Home, Back Home in Washington, The American Reader, Applying Suggestopedia in Foreign Language Teaching Using Traditional Language Books, Neuropedia – Theoretical and Practical Application in TEFL/TESOL Courses, and this two-volume book novel, THE TREASURE, and the ebook Super Cérebro, in Portuguese.
