Daniel and Dee moved to France in search of a brighter future, taking their young family with them. Many years later, following a period of time in England, Dan’s stepdaughter returns with her own young family to live nearby. Once a cute likeable four-year-old, readily accepting Daniel as a friend and father figure, Kara has become a woman of inarguable attraction. Can the relationship with her stepfather continue as before or will a path, influenced by inflammable circumstances, change the lives of both families irrevocably? Here, a common enough subject, normally inhibited by the dictates of a judgemental society, is explored with an unusual depth of humour, insight and compassion.
