Synopsis

The current climate situation requires every member of the 21st Century human society to be proactive. The young and old! Our consumption has clearly deprived the environment. We must come together to manage the environmental risks our actions have exposed us to due to global warming and climate change, before we get disenfranchised or prevented from using our genius innovations to curb the situation. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has used four original greenhouse gases concentration (not emissions) trajectories called Representative Concentration Pathways (RCPs) to come up with extrapolated global surface warming temperatures. By 2100 (22nd Century), if we do not take climate action, the highest estimated anthropogenic impact could result in a very high global surface warming (around 5°C); very unfair to generations to come! This book explains climate change and global warming for everyone to understand the crises and how best we can take actions (Sustainable Development Goal 13).
