Family Feud

The name of my novel is called Family Feud and is a crime fiction novel. The novel is based in my home town of Edenderry Co Offaly. The story follows Eric Nolan who has just been promoted to the rank of detective. As Eric starts his new career, he still grieves the recent passing of his close friend and mentor Thomas Townsend. The story begins with Eric standing in the front porch of his house on a lovely summers morning on the day he is starting at work as detective. While he is standing in the porch, he is greeted by a phone call from his Sergeant Brian Farrell. Brian informs Eric of a murder that has been committed and to get to the scene. When leaving Eric is curious to know if he will be getting a new partner. When he arrives at the crime scene, he is greeted by Brian and meets his new partner detective Victoria Cross Eric is unhappy as his new partner is such an attractive woman, he believes she does not belong on the force. After showing his disapproval of his new partner Brian informs him that he either tries to get on with his new partner or he will lose his job.
