NUCLEAR SECURITY AND THE GLOBAL POLITICAL AGENDA

Nuclear Security and the Global Political Agenda is a thorough scientific study.This work can be regarded as a guideline for researchers, politicians, students who major in International Relations, and even the general public.The international community is devoting a lot of efforts to avoid nuclear weapons to fall into the hands of terrorist organizations.This means to make sure nuclear weapons States have advanced nuclear protocols in the very purpose to avoid any theft of nuclear materials.In effect, it is a mistake to believe that terrorist organizations cannot make nuclear weapons if they steal fissile materials, for the reason that many scientists joined terrorist organizations. The world's political actors, that is, the United States,Russia, the United Kingdom, China and France are working hard to make sure that States which decided to launch a civilian nuclear program have advanced safeguards in the very purpose of respecting security protocols in nuclear plants.This will avoid another Chernobyl, or explosion of nuclear reactors. Attention has also been directed to avoiding accidental launch of nuclear weapons and nuclear disarmament by nuclear weapons States in good faith.
