Author Miller Rhinelander has come home. Seven years since his wife was brutally killed by her supposed lover, Miller must pick up the pieces of what is left of the home he grew up in several months after his mother's passing as he returns to Chicago from New York where his writing career has taken off. Enter Jessie- a free spirited sort who has a spark and passion of life that had left Miller's soul once his dear Natalia's death.
