Synopsis
In this book I will go through what it takes to become a successful DJ. We wear many hats, firstly as a DJ, Producer, Social Media Guru, Accountant, Promoter, Booker, as well as a million and one other things.
I started DJing in 1988 on Vinyl, before moving across from CD’s to USB, Traktor Pro and more recently Rekordbox DJ. With over 30 years experience as an award winning DJ and producer, I have learnt many skills that I would like to share with you. I have DJ’d around the world including Miami, New Zealand, London, Ibiza and Madrid to name just a few.
The biggest part of this book is based around the importance of being Omnipresent (which means you are on as many social platforms as possible), and what it takes to get noticed as a credible DJ. I will show you the best tools and apps to help you manage this as well as the importance of managing your time and health, amongst many other useful topics that will set you on the path to Success.
