Birds of a Feather

I am a graduate of Otterbein University, having majored in Music and Business with a concentration in Arts Administration. I have been writing all my life, but did not begin seeking it as a profession until 2018. Up until that point, it was more a hobby as I focused on my music career. I started at the age of 7 with small character introductions that expanded into short stories. I wrote my first novella my junior year of high school and my first novel the summer before my senior year. The novella was entered into the Cinematic Short Story competition and made the quarter-finalists list. In 2018, I wrote my tenth novel and entered it into the AWP Portland LitNet Competition, where I made the finalists' list and was flown to the Portland AWP Conference for my award. In March of 2019, following my return from Portland, I was accepted into the Baldwin House Writers-in-Residency program for the Fall of 2019.
