USHER YOU'RE A STAR!

This book tells of Mick's journey from being blind to having such a wonderful trained Guide Dog called Usher. Describing how some of the general public react towards the blind/severely sight impaired and how Mick has been trained with a cane initially to feel different terrains, obstacles, to working with his Guide Dog Usher, who is a star! Usher guides Mick when out and about: up and down steps, around obstacles, keeping him safe from moving vehicles when crossing the road, from trip hazards to finding a chair for Mick to sit on. Usher has been a life line allowing Mick to develop confidence and go out alone with Usher. As Mick will say "Usher has given me my eyes back." Mick is so grateful for the support he has been given, he wanted to give something back and has raised over £3,000 for charities who support the blind. Wanting to prove that being blind does not stop you doing anything. A percentage of book sales will go to Guide Dogs.
