The Alliance of Heroes After the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan in 1979, three ordinary people, in three different areas of the country, rise to power due to their involvement in Politics: 1- Murad from Northern Province of Faryab, a 6-grade school dropout, the son of a poor blacksmith runs away from the miserable life of living with his cruel father and stepmother and starts working for a drug dealer. As a smart and brave young man, he became a trusted helping hand to his boss, who had him marry his niece. Consequently, he becomes a Mujahidin commander in charge of Northern Afghanistan. 2-Shear Zaman, from the central province of Ghazni – a high school graduate, becomes a middle school teacher, and because of his membership in the communist party -The People’s Democratic Party of Afghanistan (PDPA), he wins the party’s provincial leadership position, and after the PDPA comes to power, he becomes the party and government leader also in the Northern part of the country 3- Mullah Jabar, from the southern province of Kandahar, an illiterate young mobster, rises to power in the ranks of the Taliban from the south of the country. ..
