Synopsis
In the year 2081, humanity lives in a sustainable future, where clean technology and renewable energy transform the planet. At the center of this new world, Megalopolis stands out for its grandeur, becoming a symbol of advanced urbanization and automation among living beings and robots.
Amidst this scenario, a brilliant mechatronics scientist develops a super gynoid, a humanoid machine endowed with a characteristic never before achieved by technology: possessing the first artificial emotional intelligence based on human behavior. Created essentially to protect and save people in danger.
However, amidst the construction of a better world, a mysterious scientist develops a dark plan. Driven by revenge and evil intentions, he creates an army of invincible androids and a weapon that could destroy the world and rebuild it under his own control. Between evolution and destruction, Megalopolis will become the stage for a decisive battle, on one side, technology created to protect humanity, and on the other, machines designed for destruction. Amidst ideological conflicts, the future of humanity will be in the hands of those who once gave their lives to the machines themselves.
About Denis Gomes
Denis Gomes is a visual artist and teacher of foreign languages, one of his hobbies, writing. Since his childhood he was very creative and loved sci-fi movies. He obtained this habit of writing when he entered at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie to study Liberal Arts, and it was in this place that he had contact with literature and cinema. With the advent of the digital camera, he made short films with his friends for fun. He usually wrote scripts and interpreted and ventured to direct at times. Unlike the other students at his college, he was very creative and used the knowledge acquired for the arts. He began to make stories of martial fights with comedy in "Aroudo the Fighter". Years later, he returned to study, now welding technology at Fatec SP (Faculty of Technology of São Paulo), which had greater contact with technology, and his inspirations surfaced to make his great work of science fiction Megalópoles.
Denis Gomes is an artist passionate about science fiction which motivated him to reconcile art with technology. In this work can be found his knowledge and his passions for the trend of the future.
