ABOUT THE AUTHOR. Kinen Edward Gotom is from Plateau State, Nigeria, and is based in Jos. He is a third-year student at the University of Jos and a philanthropist with a passion for helping others. As the second of five children, Kinen's life experiences have shaped his perspective on family, loss, resilience, and the strength it takes to keep moving forward. His personal experiences in the past inspired him to write FIVE ALONE: A Father's Story of Loss, Faith, and Rising Again. This is his first book, a deeply personal work that reflects the realities of life, the pain of loss, and the courage to rise again. Through this book, he hopes to touch hearts, encourage those going through difficult times, and remind readers that even in moments of deep pain, there is still hope.
