Synopsis

In a world that often flattens our differences, real attraction gets easily stuck. We try to control the outcome or change our partner to feel safe, but true intimacy starts somewhere else entirely. In SENSE, Dr. Sarah Nalind shares a gentle, somatic path back to your own center. This isn't a book of mind games or dating techniques. It is an honest, warm invitation to listen to your body, regulate relationship anxiety, and master the vulnerable art of truly receiving love. Through a blend of psychology and body awareness, you will learn how embracing the sacred distance and distinct differences between the masculine and feminine reignites the natural heat, curiosity, and passion in your life. When you stop chasing and come closer to yourself, you give the relationship space to bloom. Quiet your mind, return to your body, and let love flow exactly as it was meant to.

About Sarah Nalind

For more than two decades, my work has brought me into close contact with the inner life of relationships, how we attach, desire, withdraw, protect ourselves, reach for one another, and sense what is happening before we have words for it. My understanding has been shaped by psychology and psychotherapy, by the intelligence of the body, and by years spent listening to people speak about the most intimate parts of their lives. I have become particularly interested in what exists beneath relational behaviour: the subtle shifts in presence, attention, tension and receptivity through which so much passes between two people. SENSE grew from this territory. It is an exploration of polarity, relationship and presence, and of our capacity to perceive more precisely what is happening within us, between us, and in the space a relationship creates. I am also an author, teacher and the creator of Nalind Embodied Psychotherapy.
