Synopsis
The Blackwood County Fair was meant to bring life back to a sweltering Midwest town.
Instead, it brought a nightmare that refuses to stop smiling.
When combat veteran turned deputy Roy Chambers clocks in for the annual festival, he
expects rowdy teenagers and fried dough disputes. But under the buzz of neon lights and
greasepaint fumes, fairgoers are vanishing into the dark. The terror crystallizes when the first
body is found staged in grotesque imitation of a vintage sideshow act, drenched in midway
sawdust.
A drifter named Vincent Parrish has turned the fairgrounds into his personal abattoir,
transforming carnival rides into mechanized execution chambers. With the town sheriff
intent on sweeping the horror under the rug, Vincent executes his grand finale: cutting the
power grid and sealing the gates, trapping thousands inside a sprawling labyrinth of death.
Now, Roy must conquer his own paralyzing trauma to guide a handful of survivors through
Grinningin the Sawdust
darkened funhouses and blood-spattered midway alleys. In a frantic race against sunrise, they
will learn that in this carnival, every ticket costs a life—and the headliner always gets his encore.
