The Tales of Mentees

Behind every student is a story worth telling. Some students struggle quietly. Some lose confidence when their results do not match their effort. Others compare their journey with those around them, make mistakes, face setbacks or simply need someone to remind them that they are capable of more. Tales of Mentees brings together twenty stories drawn from students I have had the privilege of mentoring. Through moments of struggle, discovery, failure, perseverance and growth, these stories reveal the realities behind academic journeys and the lessons that can emerge from them. You will meet students learning to manage their time, take responsibility, ask for help, believe in possibility, discover their strengths, confront uncomfortable truths and keep going when giving up seems easier. These are not stories of perfect students or perfect journeys. They are stories of becoming.
