Against Everything, I Decided to Live

Against Everything, I Decided to Live is the raw, intimate, and profoundly human testimony of a man who saw his life collapse and chose to transform the fall into the beginning of a rebirth. This Book is an invitation for those who have already fallen, for those who have been silenced, for those who have been afraid and, even so, kept going. Between childhood memories, migrations, loves, losses, and rebuildings, Frédy guides the reader through an emotional journey where the truth is never softened. The book exposes the open wound of an injustice that almost destroyed him, but also reveals the silent strength that pushed him forward when everything seemed lost. It is in the midst of chaos that Sunrise is born not only as a professional project, but as a symbol of new life, recovered dignity, and reconstructed identity. A cry for freedom. With a sensory and honest writing style, Frédy shares not only what he lived, but what he felt and what he chose to do with what was done to him. This book is about the choice to live. The choice to become the author of one’s own story. It is a powerful reminder that, sometimes, the ending imposed on us is merely the beginning we truly deserve.
