The price of a bride

London, 1913. Elizabeth's life takes an unexpected turn when she is married off to the wealthy Earl William De Vere. For him, the marriage is a practical solution: an eccentric nobleman, more a philosopher then he is a charmer, who cannot seem to find a woman of his own station. For Elizabeth, however, it feels like the end of everything she's ever known. A marriage on paper, without love, without choice, without a future - a life dictated by a contract instead of her heart. But behind William quiet, scholary façade, lies more then she ever expected.
