Adventures of Alexa (Book I): Curse of the Horny Ruby

Though Alexa was raised to be a knight, she ran away from the cushioned life of her aristocratic home to become a sword-for-hire in the city of Akkadia. When she accepts an assignment by the Lord Mayor to retrieve a humorously-shaped ruby idol, she has no idea she is about to meddle with arcane forces capable of disrupting the balance of the universe. Well… sort of. This peculiar ruby idol has the power to unleash one’s innermost desires and suppress their inhibitions, thus threatening to tear down the fabric of all pretenses in the universe of dating. Which is a much higher stake than it sounds, alright? Accompanied by her half-brother, who has a crush on her (they're nobility, so it's OK), a blundering Ogre rogue with a borderline unhealthy fixation on burglaring his way into rear doors, an Elf mage with a weaponized libido and a pious paladin who is prepared to do anything impious to serve her goddess, Alexa embarks on a quest to destroy the Ruby by casting it into the waters of Mount Mood.
