Synopsis

London, 2007. Jenson is a young criminal in a black suit with red lenses, a sharp smile and no real idea how far his name will travel. After a quiet meeting at The Cinder’s Rest pulls him into the remains of old criminal routes, Jenson begins tearing through warehouses, clubs, churches, safehouses and powerful families in search of answers, control and something he refuses to name. The First Ghost follows the violent beginning of a man who will one day become feared across London, but this is not a clean origin story. Jenson is charming, funny and dangerously capable, but he is also selfish, cruel and willing to destroy anyone who stands in his way. Around him, Ryan breaks under the weight of a failed robbery, Collins starts noticing a pattern, Morris and Maria watch their pub become part of a myth, and the Ashcroft family learns that old power does not survive just because it has a name. This is the story of how a man becomes a warning, and how London first learns to say red eyes.
