Synopsis

### From a Lean Classic to a Digital Execution Guide First published in 2014, *The Seven Deadly Wastes and How to Remove Them from Your Business* introduced readers to MUDA and the foundations of Lean thinking. Today, digital transformation, remote work, AI, and supply chain disruption have created new forms of waste that traditional Lean models were never designed to address. **The Seven Deadly Wastes – Digital Edition (2026)** redefines MUDA for the modern organization, where waste hides in digital systems, delayed decisions, excessive data, bureaucracy, burnout, and AI-driven processes. ### What You'll Learn * Digital MUDA and remote operations * Lean and Artificial Intelligence * Resilient supply chains and risk-based Lean * Applications across manufacturing and service industries * Practical waste-cost formulas * A 90-Day Lean Execution Playbook ### Why This Book Matters Most organizations do not lose because of poor strategy—they lose because invisible waste quietly drains speed, cash, productivity, and execution. If the original edition taught you what waste is, this Digital Edition shows you where it hides now—and how to eliminate it.
