MUSIC AND MEDITATION

In the year 2000, Victorio traveled to India to spend time living at the ashram of one of the most renowned spiritual masters of that era, Sathya Sai Baba. During this period, the young Menghi deepened his faith in God, began the practice of meditation, and found his music profoundly transformed by spiritual devotion and the inner revolution of early adulthood. During a time of deep depression, Victorio searched fervently for God—and found something extraordinary. Without seeking it directly, he experienced what Eastern traditions call Nirvana or Samadhi: a mystical state that resides within every human being. Immersed in that experience, a profound transformation took place. Emotions and thoughts dissolved into the depths of the soul, leaving only a longing to surrender ever more deeply to that inner reality. These experiences became the foundation of a life lived fully in the world, yet forever marked by what had been discovered beyond it.
