EVIDENCE THAT GOD EXISTS

ENGLISH: As a child, I grew up in a family with atheist parents who had lived through the Second World War. They did not believe in God, and their reason was: “If such a cruel war, with so many innocent victims, could take place, then it is impossible that God exists.” A statement that would later be repeated by many others… “My Search for God” It was a journey with many obstacles. But, as the saying goes: “Seek and you shall find.” I am not a professional author or writer. Therefore, it is possible that you may come across the occasional spelling mistake, imperfect wording, or less polished sentence structure. I kindly ask for your understanding in this regard. With this book, I do not aspire to write a literary masterpiece or to present myself as a professional author. My goal is much simpler: to convey a message that I hope may touch people, inspire them, or give them something to reflect upon. For me, the content and the message are more important than perfect form. Of course, I have done my best, but I too make mistakes. I always say: “No one is perfect, and I am the perfect example of that.” I wish you an enjoyable reading experience and hope that, above all, you will find value in what I wish to share.. NEDERLANDS: Als kind groeide ik op in een gezin met atheïstische ouders die de tweede wereldoorlog hadden meegemaakt. Zij geloofden niet in God en hun reden was: ‘Als er zo’n wrede oorlog, met zoveel onschuldige doden, heeft plaatsgevonden, dan is het onmogelijk dat er een God bestaat.’ Een uitspraak die later door velen werd herhaald… 'Mijn zoektocht naar God'... Het was een parcours met vele hindernissen. Maar zoals het spreekwoord zegt: 'Wie zoekt, die vindt' Ik ben geen professionele auteur of schrijver. Het is dan ook mogelijk dat u hier en daar een spellingsfout, een onvolmaakte formulering of een minder professionele zinsbouw tegenkomt. Daar vraag ik alvast uw begrip voor. Met dit boek heb ik niet de ambitie om een literair meesterwerk te schrijven of mij als professioneel auteur te profileren. Mijn doel is veel eenvoudiger: een boodschap overbrengen waarvan ik hoop dat ze mensen kan raken, inspireren of aan het denken zetten. De inhoud en de boodschap zijn voor mij belangrijker dan de perfecte vorm. Uiteraard heb ik mijn best gedaan, maar ook ik maak fouten. Ik zeg altijd: "Niemand is perfect, en daar ben ik het perfecte voorbeeld van." Ik wens u veel leesplezier en hoop dat u vooral waarde vindt in wat ik wil delen.
