This book is a follow-up to volume 1, Prematurity 24 Weeks Plus: A Parent's Guide on the Journey of Preterm Delivery, NICU, NNU, SCBU, and Home, where it focused on preterm birth diagnosis, delivery, the neonatal unit flow structure, and the neonatal care received within each of the neonatal units, followed by discharge to home following neonatal care. Whilst the previous book focused on the neonatal journey itself, this follow-up volume focuses on what may follow after discharge from neonatal care: infancy, toddlerhood, developmental progression, therapies, educational support, and family adjustment following prematurity.
