A Breastfeeding Journey

Breastfeeding is a journey with unexpected stops and detours. It doesn't always just happen and turn out okay without effort. While already raw and experiencing hormonal turbulence, many new moms fail to get the support they desperately need to continue to work through the struggles they face. With a widespread lack of correct, adequate information regarding breastfeeding on top of that, the majority of parents has already decided to give up on breastfeeding by the time their little one is three months old. As a mother of two boys under two years old, I've been (and still am) in the trenches, too. The insights I've gained, through my own breastfeeding experiences or research, might just be the voice of understanding for those who need it.
