THE MAHDI'S EGYPT INVASION

In an alternate 19th-century Egypt, a rising warlord known as the Mahdi uses stolen gold to hire mercenaries and launch a campaign to conquer the country. As his forces advance, the Egyptian ruler turns to Benjamin Disraeli for help. Britain sends two operatives—Sidney Orebar, a seasoned fighter, and Moira Hunter, a skilled intelligence agent—to stop the invasion. As they uncover the scale of the Mahdi’s plans, they must navigate espionage, desert warfare, and internal betrayal to prevent Egypt from falling. Their mission culminates in a final battle in Cairo, where the fate of the country is decided and the Mahdi is ultimately defeated.
