A Testimony from a Witness Among Them This book is a humble attempt to clarify the background, circumstances, and repercussions of the moral crisis surrounding the publication of the offensive cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad. The Danish government considered this crisis the greatest political and economic crisis the country had faced since World War II. The Islamic world, with its more than one billion Muslims, also considers it a blatant insult to Islam, deepening a chasm that continues to widen between the Western and Islamic worlds.
