OVERSOULS: Demon Eater

‪A fifteen-year-old girl is the only survivor of a brutal demon massacre.‬ Fearing for her soul, Aura seeks refuge inside the Grand Citadel, guarded by Royal Exorcists and Holy Inquisitors, but it is not safe behind the walls. All over the city, magical wards are failing and old, vengeful demons are waking up. Amid the chaos, a disoriented demon invades Aura’s head and takes over her hand. Desperate to save herself, she turns to the Spirit World for help. On the journey of self-acceptance, Aura must reopen her awareness to the spirits and her own inner darkness; all while struggling to blend in, stay out of the holy fire and avoid the sick and twisted creatures haunting the backstreets. Most monstrous of all, is the Demon Eater, a runaway cultivator, who tries to tear her to pieces at first sight and nearly obliterates a square full of people. Killing demons is all the Demon Eater cares for, and he will do whatever it takes to protect his city, and force her demons out into the light.
