This book comprised of short stories that are non fiction between 1750 and 1899 inspired by my research into capture of prisoners in Cornwall on parole and the conditions they found themselves in Victorian prison, as well as story of a family of smugglers playing cat and mouse games with the customs officers but appreciated by the villagers in a quiet suburb of Penzance where one can appreciate the hidden coves
