Synopsis
In the Metropolis of Udaipur, love comes unexpectedly for a young boy named Karim. He befriends two girls, but Karim wanted something more. As time goes on, he gets to know the girls more and realises who he wants to be with. Unfortunately, his choice leaves the other feeling hurt and betrayed.The two keep things secretive between them because of their society's views on interfaith relationships. Karim, however, decides it is time to share this secret with the family. It was then that he discovers that years before, his father had promised him to another family to save everyone from poverty. His rejection of the arranged relationship results in mysterious kidnappings of his family and friends. After receiving several threatening calls, he has a difficult decision to make. Will Karim have to sacrifice all he worked for to save his everyone? Can he still be with the one he loves?

Daniel Pavia Livori is an Earth Systems student in Malta. This is his first novel written during his second year of University. Daniel always had an immense fascination with the world, its unique climates and features which inspired his writing about places he hasn't been to. He enjoyed learning more about India's vast cultures and traditions in the process of writing this novel. He was also very interested in the world's creatures and is especially fond of cats.
