The Algorithm

This approx. 2,000 word short fiction is a decisive attempt to dive deep into our perspective and the sense-of-self with which we interact with the world around us. It is an inquiry into the motivations behind our deepest emotions & our most radical decisions, and the control, or lack thereof, which we exercise over them. Subtly, the story also addresses the current state of our society; the materialism and the rat race. It also attempts to highlight the struggle humans encounter when trying to be open to a new idea, even while being painfully aware of the dissatisfaction for the current status quo.
